Rapper Guru of Gangstarr fame suffered a heart attack and is in a coma, several sources have told us.

While details remain sketchy, the rapper apparently suffered the heart attack in New York City and is in serious condition.

Guru, real name Keith Elam, is a founding member of Gangstarr, which also features legendary producer DJ Premier. 

Questlove of The Roots said via twitter, "So Primo confirmed on Sirius radio that Guru had heart attack and is in a coma and will undergo surgery tomorrow."

Recently, Guru gave fans the opportunity to download his album Guru 7.0: Street Scriptures, which dropped on his label 7 Grand Records in 2005.

We got a chance to hang out with an incredible artist recently from Japan.  His name is Ngap Skoloct and he is one of the pioneers of the Tokyo Underground Street Scene.  He's done many collaborations with the likes of BountyHunter and Neighborhood to name a few and helps design t shirts for Muddler an upcoming clothing line in Osaka. His dog like character (Skoloct) is very unique and he blessed us with a lil gift for Thaitanium studios.  A video of the the painting process will follow shortly but here's a pic for u guys to look at first.
