มีรายงานจาก CNET ว่า Microsoft กำลังจะเปิดตัวโทรศัพท์มือถือทั้ง 2 ในวันที่ 12 เมาายนนี้ ที่ San Francisco และพร้อมขายกับ Verizon ปลายเดือนนี้

Microsoft Pure และ Turtle จะเป็นโทรศัพท์มือถือหน้าจอสัมผัส และมี QWERTY Keyboard และใช้ OS เป็น Windows Mobile ซึ่งน่าจะเป็น Windows Phone7 ไปเลย

ชื่อโทรศัพท์ของ Microsoft ในนามว่า pure กับ Turtle อาจเป็นแค่ Codename ก็ได้ เวลาออกขายจริงอาจใช้ชื่ออื่นในการทำตลาด ผมก็เห็นด้วยอย่างยิ่งที่จะเปลี่ยนให้ชื่อมันดูเท่ห์กว่านี้ สำหรับราคาที่จะวางขายผ่าน Verizon ตอนนี้ยังไม่มีข้อมูล รู้แต่ว่าน่าจะขายกับ Vodafone ที่ UK ด้วยอีกที่
