Nas Takes Another Loss, Has To Pay Kelis Over $40,000 In Child Support A Month

Nas had a whirlwind of two days. First his second child was born, and then the very next day, at divorce court, the Judge decided to give his former wife Kelis exactly what she wanted.

The LA Judge has ordered the Queens rapper to pay $44,000 a month in child support.

According to the Associated Press, On July 23 Judge Louis Meisinger made the decision to give Nas a child support bill that dwarfed even the amount that rap mogoul Russel Simmons pays for his two daughters.

This decision comes as a serious blow to Nas, who was trying to avoid paying Kelis anything.

When Kelis filed for divorce from the legendary rapper in April, she claimed that Nas had failed to provide any kind of support for her and her child, despite having up to or more then $11 million in the bank.

Nas claimed that she had inflated his his wealth but in the end it didnt seem to matter to Judge Meisinger.
